Customer Reviews

Great quality cushion and a really fun design. Prompt delivery and v good customer service, thank you. Grace & Grey is my new favourite find.
We always collect leaves to make the wonderful compost and these will make a change from plastic sacks with holes in them.
These gloves have a lovely feel and are comfortable to wear. They are not too thick to prevent movement which enables you to do all sorts of gardening jobs whilst wearing them but are also not so thin as to go through on contact with the first thorn. They look good too!
Bought one as a present but was so impressed, I bought one for myself to use in the garden but to also use as a seat cushion. It is very lightweight to carry with you if you know you are going to be sitting on hard seats and it comes in lovely colours too.
Just received my cactus teapot set from Grace & Grey, and its absolutely fantastic. It looks great as a feature on the shelf and super funky on the table for tea. Its fab!

New Trends

As with every New Year, we all seem compiled to change, set ourselves new goals, new years resolutions by now we have possible already failed on or my personal favourite, get swayed by all the new year’s trends.  It doesn’t seem to matter where we look or what we read – must-do-trends seem to seep into our lives and then before we know it we are ripping out our kitchens ( I think the other half would leave if I tried this one, but the others are on my hit list!), replacing our bathroom floors and hanging that wallpaper we vowed never to use again. Sound familiar?  Well not every room update has to include changing everything; I know hard to believe isn’t it! If you’re anything like me this is what you would like to do every time but sometimes a quick paint job here or some new accessories there is all we need, well here are my top 5 tips for changing your interiors.

Renovations moving on

Well May has been a busy month here at the Grace and Grey office, mainly because I had a rather special birthday at the beginning of the month, and as such progress on the new showroom has been a bit slow, after a rather hectic party and a little trip away to celebrate said birthday it was back to it!

Renovation work

When starting a large renovation project it can be very daunting at first, I mean where do you start? The first place I would always start, is ask yourself, does the structure need securing?  Once the bones of the building are secure and not moving, then make sure everything is water tight.  You will find there becomes a natural order from then on.  One job generally leads to another once you start ripping things out.  Try and divide the room/ building into smaller sections, do the upstairs spaces first, then move downstairs maybe.  Look at each room and try and make a list of what needs to be done.  This might mean stripping everything back to the bear brick to find out exactly where all the damage might lie!  This isn’t necessarily a terrible thing to do or a bad place to start, once everything is out of the way you can generally see the wood for the trees, or the brick from the rot!

It's no secret that our living room needs a lot of TLC. Retro carpets, dated wallpaper and a hideous fireplace are just a few of the many problems with our current living room. It's not a room that's on this years renovation to-do list (I wish it was!) but I still can't help and look at style inspiration, do a bit of online window-shopping, all whilst trying to envision its final look. In fact, we've already had to make some style decisions since deciding on a sofa when we first moved in.
